Yo there! =) haha. my first post ever!! =) much to learn. pardon me for my blogging noobness!
WoohoO!. holidays! well.. lets not rejoice too soon! 'it's not a holiday but just a short break....' have to revise and study for jc2! wish everyone good luck in the year to come...
first week of the holidays.. hmm. quite ok.. went out like almost everyday! with my dears: lun and wen kang. HAHA =) and!!! ----
MOST IMPORTANTLY!! say goodbye to frustrating project work! =)
tues 7/11
went cwp to watch The Covenant with wen kang and his fren =))). hoho. well.. The Covanent.. hmm.. not much of a storyline i guess? but the effects were nice. the coolest part was the changes in the characters' eyes. haha. so cool. if only i had their eyes!. haha. lol =).
wed 8/11
went for interview for a part-time waiter at raffles town club with lunnie (he thinks it's cute!.. ok lor.. HAHA) and wen kang. well, glad to noe that we can start work on saturday 11/11. looking forward to it, as it will be the first time working as a banquet waiter. however, feeling rather anxious too, scared chu chou!. haha.

haha. went swimming with wen kang. he offered to give me free swimming lesson! lol =). well. he said i was like a human torpedo! HAHA. like real.. i'm just a newbie! only in swimming! all others i pro ok! =) lol.
saturday 11/11
woke up at 2+ pm, due to the nice rainy weather. and as i've mentioned... first time working as a banquet waiter!!! haha. was supposed to meet lunnie at 190 bus stop at 4.30pm. however... DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, lunnie's late, well.. that's like.. AS USUAL? LOL =). met with a slight traffic jam on the road, was afraid of being late. fortunately the traffic was smooth after awhile... met with wen kang there and we managed to reach there quite on time.. haha. was like so lost when we stepped into that place. got changed into a maroon blazer. haha. the 3 of us looked so smart in it! went to the cafeteria for dinner after that. 'wow! dinner provided at raffles town club? got abalone? shark's fin?' haha. you wish!.. the best was only curry chicken! well.. halfway through eating.. lunnie 'xin xue lai chao'. guess what? he feels like doing his hobby!. haha. shall not elaborate more on it.. furthermore.. it's part of nature! nothing wrong with it. =) anyway, the earth is what it is now thx to ppl like lunnie. on the dark side, land pollution! haha. lol =). on the contrary... more production of fertiliser! haha. good job bro! keep up with the good work! gathered at Dunearn Ballroom at 6pm for a briefing on the chinese wedding dinner. so many things to remember! the procedures.. stuffs like that.. but i believe it will all be easier after a few more times... haha. the supervisor told us that we only had to pour drinks!! yes yes! pour drinks for 5 hours and get paid $7/hr.. so happy to hear that. however, we got scammed and we need to do almost everything and anything!! set up the side stations and dinner begun shortly after that. after all the guests have settled down, it's time to do the first food presentation! haha. all of us rushed to the kitchen to pickup the first dish. after that, we entered the ballroom once again in pairs and at a certain point, we dispersed into our various designated tables. lol. saw a pretty waitress stationed beside me. hmm. attractive eyes? haha. =) anyway... the fear of spillage and breakage was constantly there.. haha. wat to expect? first timer! anyway.. dinner ended at around 10.45pm. we cleared the plates and bowls and gathered for debriefing. haha. an equation i learnt...
cooperation + skills + knowledge= MONEY! lol =).
after that, we went to collect our $$!! that's the best part of the whole wedding dinner. haha. a memorable experience. lookin forward to the next trip. =)
