aha!! the long awaited update! happy new year everyone! =) it's been around 1 mth since i last blogged! either too busy or lazy to update :D

just came back from movie trip with family, 'Just Follow Law'. it is an apt depiction of the society nowadays. hmmm. some parts quite hilarious. and jack neo is really creative. ahaha. fann and gurmit swapped gender. the movie was around 2 hours long.

ahh.. school is so boring.. so envious of those poly ppl! having a long holiday now =/ back to homework!

ahh.. been busy with school work. it has been a hectic life ever since school started. lots of tests and assignments. luckily cca hasnt really started. i doubt i will have the time to cope with studies after cca really starts.. so bored with it.

glad that there are 2 senior teachers teaching our class this year, maths and gp. gp teacher is really cool! lol. even more glad that chem teacher and ct is unchanged! lol! -.-

woots. time really flies. spent the last day of 2006 in town.

went fareast with lun and hw. chicken rice again. lol. actually wk was gonna tag along too, in search of bag. due to some reason wk was unable to join. sooo, well.. it's the 3 of us again. haha. the search for bags was to no avail.

went taka for venezia ice cream after that. had dinner at cine. met up with sec sch frens then went esplanade for countdown. omg soooooooooo mani ppl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the crowd went wild as the fireworks went off in progression, mani ppl started spraying!! zzz.

2006 was quite a fruitful year for me. it was a year in which i growed the most, both mentally and physically? lol!

ahh. gotta cut my hair tmr. so sad. sch's starting on wed =( need to rush homework liao.. lol!! well.. 2006 to 2007.. everything has changed but there's one thing which hasnt.. my interest for chem!!! LOL!!!!!! hahaha.

went town yesterday to spend xmas eve. haha. cant stay at home. xmas eve stay at home so loser!! =X so.. went out... lol.

met with lun at 190 bus-stop. he is late, as always. 'perma' late. (dota language) lolol. met hongwei at the bus stop at far east. 'walked walked' awhile before having lunch at a hainanese boneless chicken rice stall on the 4th floor. after that went to han's for cake. ate chocolate truffle. was nice la but just abit too sweet.

walked around far east till the rain subsided, before proceeding to taka. went venezia for ice cream. the ice cream there are really nice, got a cup of italian coffee and dark chocolate mixed. hmm. the dark chocolate was abit bitter and the italian coffee was abit sweet.. overall it was nice tho. met one more of zhilun's fren at taka, zhi he. went to cineleisure for dinner and movie. watched night at the museum. haha. doesnt it sound like some horror movie?!!?! it was comedy actually. i so noob lol! =/ not bad. altho everything seems so fictional in it, the storyline does possess a great meaning and inspiration. 'some are born great, some have potential in them to be great'. true? lol. so cool to ride on a t-rex.. lol. met with some of hongwei's frens after movie. went for dinner at long john. sooo mani ppl at cine. went home after that.

it's xmas today!! dunno whether will b going out! =/ last but not least, merry xmas all! =)

steamboat nite!

went tab house for steamboat last friday. so special. steamboating at fren's house. lol. met out to buy food for steamboat. lun helped out most in the preparation of the steamboat, whereas.. i washed all the plates! voluntarily ok! i so good =) lol!.

steamboat was nice, tho rather warm and stuffy! the food was delicious! gift exchange. i got a sunglass from tian cheng, and gave zhilun an eragon novel. woot!!! i so pro to choose something that he like sooo much! (shh..) lol.

secondary school years!! missin them. miss those times crapping in class blablabla. with clique hanging around after school. hmm.. duno should use carefree anot. lol. those times when kangwei and i were like comparing who is taller.. blablabla and chinese chesss. lol! this competition has yet to end ok!! and also.. comparing with alvin over who fitter!! haha. anyway i feel that he sure fitter la!! he jump so high and sprint so fast! his bball dam pro oso.. haha. but my chin-ups win ok!

first impression of gettin in this 'notorious' class of 3B,4B.. was that.. 'ahh!! doomed!! how to study in this environment!!' haha. now come to think of it,塞翁失马,焉知非福, i dun think this has been an obstacle in my learning journey. instead, it has provided an enviroment in which i learn how to be 'oblivious' to the distractions around and stay focused, concentrated.. stayin focused is very important!! in wateva u do.. yup..

yoo.! was too 'busy' to update blog.. until now..!! lol!!

went for steamboat last monday, to celebrate wk bday with him!! hmm. was nice but besides french fries, i onli ate chicken meat!! lol! we got wenkang a shirt, boxer, and c*nd*m! lol! interesting!..

anyway.. before the steamboat.. we went hotel meridien for pool. the place was so hard to find.. at one corner of the building.. hmm. with tab cousin, tab, qiu ling, wen kang and zhilun joined us after that... hmm.. ..... lol.

worked on tues, thurs and fri.
tues.. chinese wedding.. well. me and momo got paired up with aunties.. anyway. come to think of it, it wasnt that bad. since the aunties are more vertically challenged than i am.. so.. it was sort of easier for them to put utensils and plates on the table!!. lols. i still need to bend slightly ok... so.. me and momo were the 'runners' for our groups.. keep running to and fro to the kitchen to pickup food and also to send plates for washing. work is good PT ok!

hmm. thurs.. bpghs prom nite. not bad. quite an 'eye-opener'!! lol! ok la mani chio bu. got reminded of secondary school years and also the time when i had prom nite too.... hmm. lol. mixed emotion. happy and sad. happy for the fact that i have completed secondary education and moving on.. sad.. cos have to part with mani good frens..

friday.. MINDS charity ball dinner. it was a grand event. mani important people attended.. $1300 per table!.. rich folks!..

sunday.. hmm. afternoon buffet. wedding dinner of a mixed couple, chinese bridegroom and malay bride. anyway.. this work so sai gang!! everything do one!! zzz. before the function we had to move tables and chairs, roll big round tables from basement to lvl 2. was perspiring like mad. plus the material that the uniform was made of. so uncomfortable la!!.

ahhh.. back from csc at around 12am+

lost both sets 19-21 19-21. so ke xi. opponents were not strong at all. however.. we made lots and lots and lots of mistakes.. we kept hitting out. everyone says the shuttle is tooo fast.. well. at least i managed to 'liken' badminton a little more.. hmm. train hard for next year??... sigh.

gonna work nxt week tues thurs fri.. and mayb wed..?? not sure abt wed..

heya! back from work!

work today was not bad! the best part of the nite.. besides collecting money.. was that we managed to have a supper which was part of a $900/table menu!! haha. sliced abalone, sharks' fin etc.. hmm.. not bad not bad. $36 for the nite. gonna work on next tues, wed and thurs!! heard that wed and thurs both are prom nites.. hmm.. sounds exciting.

ahh.. badminton match tmr 8pm at chinese swimming club. so bored.. csc is soooooooooo far away!!! on the other side of Singapore!! zzz.
work is fun! =)

ahh.. title says it all!! so bored!.. so.. here to update!! ....... =)

been doing nth much recently.. lol. holidays can b quite sian too... although relaxing and can hav the time to sit around doing nothing.

AHH!! it's almost nearing the end of the month!! another month left before school reopens!! oh gosh. i haven even started revising!! ahh.!! die liao die liao.. plus somemore everyday see my brother study like 24/7.. besides eat shit sleep... = STUDY!! sooo stressed about not being stressed.. i SHOULD get down to studying!!.. SHOULD.. not MUST!! lol. zzz.

anywayS.. went out on sunday nite 10pm+ with wenkang and lunnie for supper. macdonalds at causeway point.. lol. wenkang is so loser!! call us go causeway nearer to his house and he late for about 15mins!! hmmm.. i wonder why i have this sudden craving for chocolates! mayb that's the side effect of being close to someone who produces so much 'chocolate'? right lun? lolzzz. HAHAHA.

crazy OT!!

'earning money is never easy', yes that's what i took home from yesterday's work...

met with lun and went down to RTC together. we were delighted when we heard that it was a western dinner style, which was in a way 'less tiring' than chinese dinner. chinese dinner, most of the time was serving food and picking up dishes from kitchen, whereas western dinner, more time was on serving beverages. it was a western dinner with spanish patrons. their language is so cool! like rap!. lol.

dinner started at around 9pm. so late.. was already mentally prepared that it will not end as usual at 11pm.. anyway.. we were asked if we want to work OT. heard that OT was onli till 3.. but who knows.. it was till 5!! 6pm to 5am!! 11 hours work. crazy! anyway.. it was quite worthwhile for the $$ we got. $77 in a day. hmm.. achievement? lol.

most of the patrons were ang-mohs and spanish speaking. their perfume spray like water washing hands. so thick! one thing for sure, these people are much more open and friendly than local patrons. and another thing!! they sure do eat alot bread!! i made countless trips to the kitchen to refill on breads. most of them were tall, and there were women one head taller than me!.. mayb due to the bread they eat? lol! i think i should start eating more bread too.. also, these people drink much more wine than the local patrons. had to keep refilling red wine. so hardcore alcoholics.

life is full of obstacles and challenges..

bbq nite..

hello everyone! here to blog again!! =) thx everyone for the tags. lol

went sung house for bbq last nite. well, the variety of food was so limited! hotdogs, fishballs, crabsticks, chicken wings. haha. so typical of bbqs.. anyway, enjoyed it, no wonder ppl say 12J is united, which is something that i have to agree with. thought of stayin over for the nite at sung house. however, the temptation of sleeping in my own comfortable bed is simply too hard to resist. so, i din stay over =/. moreover, i had training the next day.. sigh.

haha. swam again. swimming is so fun! i'm improving with every trip! hehe. thx shao jun for teaching =).

zzz missing u =/ anyway.. commenting on my blogskin.. misa is so pretty and light is so handsome!!

lol =). hey there again! today first day blogging! so.. hmm.. enthu abit.. so here's another post!!

went swimming with wen kang and zhi lun. met with zhi lun at keat hong lrt. guess wat?!! he's late AS USUAL!!!!!!!!!! AAHH!! well.. i wouldn't mind waitin if u'r a girl!! haha. lol. went to woodlands swimming complex. however, it started to rain shortly after we got there!! what to do?... we got out of the pool. sat down and chatted for quite a while. well.. we waited for like 40mins for the rain to subside..

haha. big achievement this time! well. can say sort of overcame my phobia of water due to a small accident when i was 12. swam till around 7.

anyway.. special thanks to these people for guiding me through the creation of this blog.

Yo there! =) haha. my first post ever!! =) much to learn. pardon me for my blogging noobness!

WoohoO!. holidays! well.. lets not rejoice too soon! 'it's not a holiday but just a short break....' have to revise and study for jc2! wish everyone good luck in the year to come...

first week of the holidays.. hmm. quite ok.. went out like almost everyday! with my dears: lun and wen kang. HAHA =) and!!! ----

MOST IMPORTANTLY!! say goodbye to frustrating project work! =)

tues 7/11
went cwp to watch The Covenant with wen kang and his fren =))). hoho. well.. The Covanent.. hmm.. not much of a storyline i guess? but the effects were nice. the coolest part was the changes in the characters' eyes. haha. so cool. if only i had their eyes!. haha. lol =).

wed 8/11
went for interview for a part-time waiter at raffles town club with lunnie (he thinks it's cute!.. ok lor.. HAHA) and wen kang. well, glad to noe that we can start work on saturday 11/11. looking forward to it, as it will be the first time working as a banquet waiter. however, feeling rather anxious too, scared chu chou!. haha.

haha. went swimming with wen kang. he offered to give me free swimming lesson! lol =). well. he said i was like a human torpedo! HAHA. like real.. i'm just a newbie! only in swimming! all others i pro ok! =) lol.

saturday 11/11
woke up at 2+ pm, due to the nice rainy weather. and as i've mentioned... first time working as a banquet waiter!!! haha. was supposed to meet lunnie at 190 bus stop at 4.30pm. however... DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, lunnie's late, well.. that's like.. AS USUAL? LOL =). met with a slight traffic jam on the road, was afraid of being late. fortunately the traffic was smooth after awhile... met with wen kang there and we managed to reach there quite on time.. haha. was like so lost when we stepped into that place. got changed into a maroon blazer. haha. the 3 of us looked so smart in it! went to the cafeteria for dinner after that. 'wow! dinner provided at raffles town club? got abalone? shark's fin?' haha. you wish!.. the best was only curry chicken! well.. halfway through eating.. lunnie 'xin xue lai chao'. guess what? he feels like doing his hobby!. haha. shall not elaborate more on it.. furthermore.. it's part of nature! nothing wrong with it. =) anyway, the earth is what it is now thx to ppl like lunnie. on the dark side, land pollution! haha. lol =). on the contrary... more production of fertiliser! haha. good job bro! keep up with the good work! gathered at Dunearn Ballroom at 6pm for a briefing on the chinese wedding dinner. so many things to remember! the procedures.. stuffs like that.. but i believe it will all be easier after a few more times... haha. the supervisor told us that we only had to pour drinks!! yes yes! pour drinks for 5 hours and get paid $7/hr.. so happy to hear that. however, we got scammed and we need to do almost everything and anything!! set up the side stations and dinner begun shortly after that. after all the guests have settled down, it's time to do the first food presentation! haha. all of us rushed to the kitchen to pickup the first dish. after that, we entered the ballroom once again in pairs and at a certain point, we dispersed into our various designated tables. lol. saw a pretty waitress stationed beside me. hmm. attractive eyes? haha. =) anyway... the fear of spillage and breakage was constantly there.. haha. wat to expect? first timer! anyway.. dinner ended at around 10.45pm. we cleared the plates and bowls and gathered for debriefing. haha. an equation i learnt...

cooperation + skills + knowledge= MONEY! lol =).

after that, we went to collect our $$!! that's the best part of the whole wedding dinner. haha. a memorable experience. lookin forward to the next trip. =)
